Every module is part of the same system. A restaurant order placed from the Android app by a waiter appears on the guest's folio at the front desk immediately. Walk-in and Advance Reservations
The booking calendar shows all your rooms and all dates in one grid. Walk-in guests are checked in directly from the front desk — room selected, rate applied, folio opened. Advance reservations are created the same way, with a future arrival date.
Each reservation has a folio — a running account of everything charged to that guest. Room charges, food orders, room service, advance deposits, and any extras all accumulate on the folio. At checkout, you generate an invoice from the folio. One click.
Reservation states: Tentative → Confirmed → Checked In → Checked Out. Each state change is timestamped. A cancelled reservation records who cancelled it and when.
Rates, Pricing, and Seasonal Overrides
Set a base rate per room type. Apply seasonal multipliers for peak and off-peak periods. Set day-of-week adjustments — lower midweek, higher weekend. Create rate plans (advance purchase, last-minute, corporate) with a price multiplier per plan.
GST is calculated automatically based on the room's declared tariff:

If your property is not GST registered, invoices are generated without any tax fields — update your registration status once in settings and all future invoices reflect it.
Restaurant, Room Service, and F&B on the Folio
Table orders placed in the restaurant POS are posted to the relevant room folio directly — a guest on table 3 who is in room 204 can have their food bill transferred to their room account with two taps. At checkout, their invoice includes accommodation charges and all food and beverage orders in a single itemised document.
Room service orders raised from the front desk or the Android app appear in the kitchen ticket queue immediately. Kitchen staff mark tickets as prepared; front desk sees the order status without making a call.
OTA Sync — iCal and Channex
Each room type in Zitlin has an iCal export URL. Paste it into Airbnb, Booking.com, or any OTA that accepts iCal imports. Availability updates run automatically every 5–15 minutes in both directions — reservations from OTAs appear in Zitlin, and bookings confirmed in Zitlin block dates on all connected OTAs.
